The G180 Gulley Trim/Expansion Joint is generally used in fibreglass roofs over 50sqm for expansion purposes. It is also used for drainage.
The decking should be cut to allow for enough of a gap to insert the trim. The flanges of the G180 should be parallel with the decking. It can then be nailed to the decking, ideally using galvanised nails. The trim edges should then be bandaged and the laminate (chopped strand matting and resin) applied afterwards.
