This is a lightweight, grey/black flecked filler consisting of hollow microspheres. Fillite can be added to polyester resin to extend and reduce the density of the resin mixture.
The addition rate is up to 140% by weight but generally 50% will give a good workable mix that can be used to fill large areas or bed down timber or steel to GRP laminates .
It can be sanded down easily but should not be used as the final layer prior to any subsequent painting.
