The Topcoats available from FibreGlassDirect are an Isophthalic Lloyds approved brush topcoat that dries to a tack free surface. Polymer granules have been added to provide a non-slip texture when cured making it ideal for Boat decks, Walkways and Balconies and anywhere a safe non-slip surface is required. Gelcoats are applied to a mould surface to provide a protective exterior layer to a laminate, generally at a thickness of 0.75-1.25mm. An isophthalic resin is used in gelcoat to give enhanced weathering protection and scratch resistance. Gelcoats can be pigmented to a vast range of colours and will mirror the gloss level of the mould it is used on.
